The People Who Measure Your Yard Are the People Who Build In It
Machin Solutions designs, builds and installs pergolas, tiki huts and outdoor living structures across South Florida. That whole sentence is deliberate: we are not a sales operation that hands the job to whoever is available, and nothing gets built by a crew that never saw the site.
What we do
Two kinds of structure, done properly. Modern engineered pergolas and cabanas — aluminium or timber, open, louvered or solid-roofed, carrying lighting, fans, kitchens, televisions and screening. And traditional tiki and chickee huts — an open timber frame under a steeply pitched palm-thatch roof, which is still the best pure shade structure ever built for this climate.
Most of our work is residential: pool decks, patios and backyards across Miami-Dade and Broward. We also build complete outdoor living spaces where the structure, the kitchen, the media wall and the lighting are drawn as one thing rather than added in layers over five years.
How we work
Every project starts with someone standing in your yard with a tape measure. Not because it is a nice touch, but because post positions, spans, sun angles, drainage and material access are all decided by things you cannot see in a photograph. That visit is what makes the estimate a real number rather than a hopeful one.
From there you get a design drawn for your space, a written estimate against it, and a straight answer when the thing you asked for is not the right thing. We would rather talk you into a smaller structure that works than a larger one that crowds your yard.
On site, the priorities are the parts nobody photographs: footings sized for the loads the structure will actually see, anchor hardware rated for uplift, and connections that transfer force rather than rest on it. Those are what decide whether a structure is still square in ten years.
What we will not do
We will not quote a number before seeing the space, because a figure given blind is a guess dressed as an answer. We will not put a photograph on this website of something we did not build — every image here is a Machin Solutions structure, several of them shot mid-installation with the ladders still up. And we will not give you a confident answer about permitting for your specific address on a web page, because that is a real legal question and it deserves a real answer.

Footings sized for the loads, anchor hardware rated for uplift, and beam-to-post connections that transfer force instead of just resting on it.

Finished, not just framed
Lighting, fans, speakers, soffit panels and screens are planned into the frame from the start rather than surface-mounted afterwards.

The people who measure your yard are the people who build in it. Nothing gets handed off to a subcontractor who never saw the site.

Material staging is planned around your access, and the site is cleared and cleaned before the crew leaves it.
